  This place has it all. Terrific food at fantastic prices. Loved it so much, went for another road trip 2 weekends running, just to try something else on the menu. Staff are friendly, efficient and the establishment is spotless! From sit down to take away it has it all. From brekkie to dinner it caters for all day, every day. You have to try their famous Cheeseburger and the Potato Scallops taste just like they used to when you were a kid. A terrific pit stop off the Highway. Do yourself a favour and try it!

  Just bought a burger and chips.. burger was yummy and chips are really good... the guy who serves needs to smile a lil plz he looks cranky lol ... but other than that food is yummy ... i want more chips ... thats how good they are

  Still stinging from the BEETROOT incident, I was pleasantly offered a variety of fine options to choose from and I decided on... a burger... Ok, so I'm boring, what can I say. Let me tell you this, The burger and chips I had was in no way boring. It was extremely delicious, fresh and it had NO BEETROOT! :)

  I decided to stop in on my way home from my new job after coming the 'back way' from Mittagong. I was greeted by a nice older gentleman who took my order with a smile and was extremely pleasant. The order was perfect! The chips were by far the best chips I have had in a long time and the burger was made exactly as I asked. I will definitely be going back!

  So I thought I would stop in again and have a bite. After a shockingly bad Kebab recently, I thought I would stop in and see if these fine folks had a Kebab I could try. After recently having a locally made kebab with BEETROOT on it, I was attempting to redeem the situation with a great kebab. I was extremely disappointed to find out that 'No', they could not provide me with satisfaction for my craving.

  If stale food, out of date groceries, and rudeness is your thing, this is the place for you. Sort of like Fawlty Towers meets Woolf Creek. Don't make eye contact with the stumpy, moustachioed owner lest you cop the death stare, especially after you've sent back the overcooked eggs and shrivelled salt sausages cooked - it seems - the previous week. Make your way quietly to the door and don't look back.

  Apparently this place has been open for several years. Without a single Google review. I review the place, and within 2 weeks there are 5 glowing reviews. Not only that, the owner has replied to each of them. Except mine, of course, which only adds more weight to the nature of this bloke. If I had an upset customer for any reason, I'd be inclined to try to make that customer happy, not make gratuitous comments to the already happy punters.

  I have found the service to be exceptionally friendly, genuinely caring and perfectly precise in the accuracy of my order each time I have been to Yanderra General Store. The staff's careful and diligent attention shone through as I had an amazing burger with perfect chips, Hot, fresh and exceptionally flavourful.

  The best takeaway/cafe in the Wollondilly thus far. Ignore that other (obviously) bull review. The staff are wonderful. The food is fantastic value for money. Its always busy when I'm there so they must be doing something right. 10 stars
